A New Morning
New Beginnings
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”
Reflection
Every sunrise is a quiet announcement that God is not finished with you. The promise in Isaiah 43:19 — "Behold, I will do a new thing…" — is not a sentimental wish but a settled word from the Lord who keeps His word. Whatever yesterday held — its failures, its sorrows, its half-finished prayers — does not have the final say over today. His mercies do not arrive late, and they do not run out. They are simply, faithfully, new every morning. Take a slow breath. Receive this day as a gift you did not earn and cannot lose by trying too hard. The God who began this work in you is the same God who will finish it. Step into this morning gently. You do not need to carry the weight of every tomorrow; you only need to walk today with Him. He is already here, waiting, patient, kind, and full of fresh grace for whatever the next hours hold.
Prayer
Father, thank You for the gift of this new day. Steady my heart, set my feet on Your path, and let me walk with You from morning to evening. In Jesus' name, amen.
Where do I need a fresh start with God today?
