When You Are Weary
Strength for the Journey
Scripture
“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.”
— Isaiah 40:29 (KJV)
Reflection
When weakness is honest, grace flows freely. Isaiah 40:29 reminds us, "He giveth power to the faint; and…" The Lord is not impressed by self-sufficiency; He is drawn to honest dependence. Today, admit what you cannot carry. Lay it down at His feet. His strength is made perfect in your weakness, not in your pretending. Walk softly with Him through this day, and you will be carried further than you could have walked alone.
Prayer
Lord, Your grace is enough for me. Teach me to lean on Your strength rather than my own. Amen.
