Strength for the Journey

“My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.”

Reflection
God is the strength of those who wait on Him. Psalm 73:26 confirms it: "My flesh and my heart faileth: but…" Waiting is not wasted time when it is waiting on the Lord. It is the place where new strength is given. Today, slow down enough to wait. Pray and listen. Receive before you run. He will renew you for the road ahead.
Prayer
Father, be my strength today. When I am weak, hold me up. When I am weary, carry me. Amen.
