Strength for the Journey

“In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.”

Reflection
God is the strength of those who wait on Him. Psalm 138:3 confirms it: "In the day when I cried thou…" Waiting is not wasted time when it is waiting on the Lord. It is the place where new strength is given. Today, slow down enough to wait. Pray and listen. Receive before you run. He will renew you for the road ahead.
Prayer
Father, be my strength today. When I am weak, hold me up. When I am weary, carry me. Amen.
