Strength for the Journey

“I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.”

Reflection
God is the strength of those who wait on Him. Psalm 71:16 confirms it: "I will go in the strength of…" Waiting is not wasted time when it is waiting on the Lord. It is the place where new strength is given. Today, slow down enough to wait. Pray and listen. Receive before you run. He will renew you for the road ahead.

God of all power, fill me with quiet confidence today. Walk with me through every challenge. Amen.
