Freedom in Christ

“I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place.”

Reflection
The bands that bound you are broken. Psalm 118:5 sings it: "I called upon the Lord in distress…" The Lord delights in setting captives free. Whatever still seems to hold you, name it before Him today and ask for the freedom Christ has already won. He is faithful to finish what He has started.
Prayer
Holy Spirit, lead me into deeper freedom today — freedom to love, to forgive, to rejoice. Amen.
