Freedom in Christ

Reflection
Freedom is the natural air of the Christian life. Psalm 34:17 reminds us, "The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth…" The Spirit does not bind; He liberates. He frees us to love God, to love others, to be honest, to forgive, to forgive again. Today, ask the Spirit to free you from one thing — a fear, a resentment, a habit of mind — and trust Him to do it.
Prayer
Holy Spirit, lead me into deeper freedom today — freedom to love, to forgive, to rejoice. Amen.
