“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”

Reflection
Wisdom begins with reverence. James 1:5 establishes it: "If any of you lack wisdom, let…" To fear the Lord is to take Him seriously — His goodness, His holiness, His authority, His love. From that posture, wisdom grows. Today, before you make decisions or react to circumstances, pause and consider the Lord. A short prayer for wisdom can change the shape of an entire day. He gives generously to those who ask.

Father, I ask for Your wisdom today. Help me to choose well, speak well, and walk humbly with You. Amen.
