Wisdom & Discernment

“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”
— Psalm 90:12 (KJV)
Reflection
Heavenly wisdom is recognizable by its gentleness. Psalm 90:12 describes it: "So teach us to number our days…" Wisdom that comes from God is humble, peaceable, full of mercy. If a "wise" thought makes you proud or harsh, it is not yet wisdom. Today, ask the Lord to give you a softer, wiser heart.

Lord, make me wise in the small things, so that I may be faithful in the great. Amen.
