Reflection
Heavenly wisdom is recognizable by its gentleness. Psalm 19:7 describes it: "The law of the Lord is perfect…" Wisdom that comes from God is humble, peaceable, full of mercy. If a "wise" thought makes you proud or harsh, it is not yet wisdom. Today, ask the Lord to give you a softer, wiser heart.
Prayer
Lord, give me a discerning heart. Teach me Your ways and order my steps in truth. Amen.
