Reflection
Bless the Lord, O my soul. Psalm 118:1 invites us to choose praise: "O give thanks unto the Lord; for…" Sometimes praise rises easily; sometimes it must be chosen against the grain of our mood. Both are good. Today, even if the day feels heavy, find one true thing about God and praise Him for it. Gratitude is not pretending; it is remembering.
Prayer
Lord, receive my praise today, even in the ordinary moments. You are worthy. Amen.
