Reflection
Gratitude is a powerful spiritual discipline. Psalm 113:3 calls us into it: "From the rising of the sun unto…" A thankful heart sees rightly. It notices the small mercies that an anxious heart misses. Today, before you ask the Lord for anything, take a few moments to thank Him — for breath, for grace, for the people around you, for the steadiness of His love. Gratitude turns the soul toward the Giver.
