Gratitude & Praise

“I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.”

Reflection
Thanksgiving is not reserved for good days. Psalm 86:12 reminds us, "I will praise thee, O Lord my…" In every thing — not for every thing — give thanks. The Lord is good even when the day is hard. He is faithful even when you cannot trace Him. Today, give Him the offering of thanks from wherever you actually are.
Prayer
God of every good gift, awaken thankfulness in me. Open my eyes to the kindnesses I have overlooked. Amen.
