Reflection
Cast your cares — do not carry them. Psalm 62:8 commands gently: "Trust in him at all times; ye…" The verb is active. Throw them. Do not nibble at them all day. Trust is the moment you decide to actually let go. Today, practice the small but powerful act of releasing your worries into the hands of God.
Prayer
God my Shepherd, lead me through this day in peace. I will trust You with the things I cannot control. Amen.
