Peace & His Presence

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee.”

Reflection
The peace of God guards the heart. Isaiah 26:3 promises, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace…" It is a sentinel that stands watch when our own thinking would betray us. Today, let the peace of God guard your heart. Refuse to let anxious thoughts have the last word. Replace them with truth, with prayer, with thanksgiving.

Prince of Peace, settle Your peace deep in my heart today. Where I am anxious, calm me. Where I am restless, still me. Amen.
