Reflection
The peace of God guards the heart. Psalm 31:20 promises, "Thou shalt hide them in the secret…" It is a sentinel that stands watch when our own thinking would betray us. Today, let the peace of God guard your heart. Refuse to let anxious thoughts have the last word. Replace them with truth, with prayer, with thanksgiving.

Father, draw me into Your presence. There is nowhere I would rather be than near You. Amen.
