Reflection
Peace is not the absence of trouble; it is the presence of God. Psalm 73:28 steadies us: "But it is good for me to…" The world cannot manufacture this peace, and circumstances cannot take it away. It is given, not earned. Today, receive the peace of Christ as a gift. Be still long enough to hear Him. Quiet your striving long enough to remember that He is God. Peace will return to the soul that returns to Him.

Prince of Peace, settle Your peace deep in my heart today. Where I am anxious, calm me. Where I am restless, still me. Amen.
