January · Day 4 of 365

Begin Again

New Beginnings

Scripture
Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark.
Philippians 3:13-14 (KJV)

Reflection

A new day is a quiet invitation to begin again with God. The words of Philippians 3:13-14 — "Forgetting those things which are behind, and…" — call us out of regret and into renewed trust. He is not waiting at the door of this day with a list of disappointments; He is waiting with grace. Hand Him your worries one by one, naming them honestly. Then receive His peace in return. The path ahead may still be uncertain, but the One who walks it with you is not. Each small act of obedience today is a brick in the life He is building in you. You do not need to see the whole road; you only need to take the next faithful step. He is faithful, and that is enough for today.

Prayer

Lord, I lift my eyes to You this morning. Be my strength, my guide, and my joy today. Amen.

Thought for the Day

How is God already at work in my day before I even noticed?
