February · Day 51 of 365

The Father's Heart

The Love of God

Scripture
But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ.
Ephesians 2:4-5 (KJV)

Reflection

The Christian life flows from one stunning truth: God loves you. Ephesians 2:4-5 writes it on the heart again — "But God, who is rich in mercy…" Everything else we believe, hope, and do begins here. When love is the foundation, fear loses its grip. When love is the source, obedience becomes joyful rather than heavy. Today, refuse the lie that you must qualify for His affection. The cross has already settled the question. Walk through this day in the warmth of being deeply, securely, eternally loved. Let that love overflow toward someone near you — a kind word, a patient pause, a quiet prayer. Loved people love people. Begin in His love, and you will end the day with grace to spare.

Prayer

Father of mercies, let Your kindness shape me today. May I receive Your love and pass it on freely. Amen.

Thought for the Day

Where do I most need to feel the Father's love today?
