March · Day 71 of 365
An Anchor for the Soul
Renewal & Hope
Scripture
“I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.”
— Psalm 130:5 (KJV)
Reflection
Hope is not naive; it is rooted. Psalm 130:5 gives the root: "I wait for the Lord, my soul…" Hope rooted in God survives what wishful hope cannot. It bends in the wind but does not break. Today, ask the Lord to deepen your hope — not louder, not flashier, just deeper. Let it anchor you while the surface of life shifts. The God of hope is at work, even quietly, even now.
Prayer
Lord, I wait on You. Renew my strength and lift my eyes above what I can see. Amen.
Thought for the Day
Where is hope quietly rising in my life that I have not yet noticed?
