March · Day 77 of 365
An Anchor for the Soul
Renewal & Hope
Scripture
“And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee.”
— Psalm 39:7 (KJV)
Reflection
Hope is not naive; it is rooted. Psalm 39:7 gives the root: "And now, Lord, what wait I for…" Hope rooted in God survives what wishful hope cannot. It bends in the wind but does not break. Today, ask the Lord to deepen your hope — not louder, not flashier, just deeper. Let it anchor you while the surface of life shifts. The God of hope is at work, even quietly, even now.
Prayer
Father, You are the God of hope. Fill me with joy and peace as I trust You, and let hope rise in me. Amen.
Thought for the Day
Where is hope quietly rising in my life that I have not yet noticed?
