Peace & His Presence

“In thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”

Reflection
Peace is not the absence of trouble; it is the presence of God. Psalm 16:11 steadies us: "In thy presence is fulness of joy…" The world cannot manufacture this peace, and circumstances cannot take it away. It is given, not earned. Today, receive the peace of Christ as a gift. Be still long enough to hear Him. Quiet your striving long enough to remember that He is God. Peace will return to the soul that returns to Him.

Father, draw me into Your presence. There is nowhere I would rather be than near You. Amen.
