December · Day 354 of 365
Peace That Passes Understanding
Peace & His Presence
Scripture
“Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?”
— Psalm 139:7 (KJV)
Reflection
Be still, and know. Psalm 139:7 simply calls us back: "Whither shall I go from thy spirit…" Not be busy. Not be brilliant. Be still. Knowing God is the rest of the soul. Today, carve out a small pocket of stillness. Even a few minutes. Let the Lord remind you who He is and whose you are.
Prayer
Jesus, be the rest of my soul today. I come to You with everything that weighs on me. Amen.
Thought for the Day
What does it look like to be still in the next ten minutes?
