December · Day 361 of 365
God With Us
Peace & His Presence
Scripture
“The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty… he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.”
— Zephaniah 3:17 (KJV)
Reflection
God with us — the great comfort of Scripture. Zephaniah 3:17 declares it: "The Lord thy God in the midst…" You are not alone. Not in the noise. Not in the silence. Not in the joy. Not in the grief. The Lord is with you. That truth, believed deeply, changes everything.
Prayer
Father, draw me into Your presence. There is nowhere I would rather be than near You. Amen.
Thought for the Day
How can I welcome God's presence into this hour?
