December · Day 362 of 365
Quiet Heart
Peace & His Presence
Scripture
“When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek.”
— Psalm 27:8 (KJV)
Reflection
Come to Him, and find rest. Psalm 27:8 opens the invitation: "When thou saidst, Seek ye my face…" Rest is found in a Person, not a place. Whatever has been wearing you out, bring it to Jesus. He gives the kind of rest that reaches the inside of the soul.
Prayer
Jesus, be the rest of my soul today. I come to You with everything that weighs on me. Amen.
Thought for the Day
What anxious thought can I replace with a truth from Scripture?
