February · Day 37 of 365
Beloved Today
The Love of God
Scripture
“The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love.”
— Zephaniah 3:17 (KJV)
Reflection
Love is the first language of God. Zephaniah 3:17 reminds us, "The Lord thy God in the midst…" — and this love is not abstract. It came down. It became flesh. It bled. It rose. It still calls your name. Today, do not hurry past the staggering kindness of being loved by the Lord of heaven. Sit with it. Let it warm what is cold inside you. Let it heal what is hidden. Then let it move outward, gently and naturally, to the people the Lord places in your path.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, settle Your love into my heart today. Quiet my fears, soften my edges, and help me love others as You have loved me. Amen.
Thought for the Day
