Beloved Today
The Love of God

“How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.”

Reflection
Love is the first language of God. Psalm 36:7 reminds us, "How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God…" — and this love is not abstract. It came down. It became flesh. It bled. It rose. It still calls your name. Today, do not hurry past the staggering kindness of being loved by the Lord of heaven. Sit with it. Let it warm what is cold inside you. Let it heal what is hidden. Then let it move outward, gently and naturally, to the people the Lord places in your path.

Father of mercies, let Your kindness shape me today. May I receive Your love and pass it on freely. Amen.
