March · Day 62 of 365
Wait, and See
Renewal & Hope
Scripture
“Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God.”
— Psalm 42:11 (KJV)
Reflection
Some seasons stretch the soul thin. Psalm 42:11 speaks tenderly into that stretching: "Why art thou cast down, O my…" The Lord does not despise weariness; He meets it. He invites the tired to come, the heavy to rest. There is no shame in needing renewal. There is great wisdom in admitting it early. Today, name what is weighing on you and bring it honestly to God. He is not surprised. He is not disappointed. He is faithful. Hope is rising, even when you cannot yet see it.
Prayer
God of all comfort, restore what is weary in me. Anchor my soul in Your faithfulness. Amen.
Thought for the Day
What am I waiting for, and what does it look like to wait well?
