A Living Hope

Reflection

Renewal begins in the secret place with God. Psalm 62:5 tells us, "My soul, wait thou only upon God…" The world's strength runs out; His does not. When you feel emptied, the answer is not to push harder but to draw nearer. Sit with the Lord today, even briefly, and let Him do for you what you cannot do for yourself. He restores. He lifts. He refills. Hope is not the absence of weariness; it is the presence of God in the middle of it. Trust Him with the slow work of renewal in your soul.
