Renewal & Hope

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

Reflection
Some seasons stretch the soul thin. Isaiah 26:3 speaks tenderly into that stretching: "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace…" The Lord does not despise weariness; He meets it. He invites the tired to come, the heavy to rest. There is no shame in needing renewal. There is great wisdom in admitting it early. Today, name what is weighing on you and bring it honestly to God. He is not surprised. He is not disappointed. He is faithful. Hope is rising, even when you cannot yet see it.
Prayer
Lord, renew my hope today. Where my heart has grown tired, breathe Your life into it again. Amen.
