Reflection
Thanksgiving is not reserved for good days. Psalm 107:1 reminds us, "O give thanks unto the Lord, for…" In every thing — not for every thing — give thanks. The Lord is good even when the day is hard. He is faithful even when you cannot trace Him. Today, give Him the offering of thanks from wherever you actually are.
Prayer
God of every good gift, awaken thankfulness in me. Open my eyes to the kindnesses I have overlooked. Amen.
